Make one small thing: a paragraph, a sketch, a question for a neighbor, a page that does one useful job. Give it a friendly boundary. Twenty minutes. One sheet of paper. A single material.
Now change one condition. Try another arrangement. Ask for a variation that uses fewer materials. Write the same idea for a different reader. Choose the direction that makes the work more interesting to you.
Keep the first version beside the second. Name one thing you learned through making. A finished small work can be an invitation to something larger without having to contain the whole future.
