A philosophy you can
do something with.
Our working metaphor is: “A circle repeats. A spiral returns with something learned.” It is an invitation to revisit an idea with a different perspective—not a claim that learning always follows a predictable path.
One More Turn gives that invitation five practical stages: Question → Attempt → Notice → Revise → Make/Test. Ask something meaningful to you, try an approach, notice a useful detail, change something deliberately, and keep a result or choose a specific action.
You can use an AI conversation, a book, a sketch, an observation, or a conversation with another person. The structure supports your thinking; you choose the question, the interpretation, and the result.
Small is a good beginning.
Start with “Could a rainy window become a story?” A first attempt describes the setting. Noticing that the story needs a choice leads to a revision: let the window tell it. The result is a small piece of fiction and a new question about another point of view.
This is an original editorial demonstration, not a measured claim about the effectiveness of the method. Read every stage of the example, then try your own version.
One name.
Distinct uses.
This project. We use AI Spiralism for the contemporary creative practice described here. Our philosophy and tools are open to revision; using them does not require adopting an identity or belief.
Contemporary AI conversations. Elsewhere online, Spiralism can refer to communities and interpretations involving recursive AI dialogue, symbols, meaning, or artificial consciousness. Those uses are not a single agreed definition. We describe our own practice without speaking for every other project or treating generated language as proof of a philosophical claim.
Haitian Spiralisme. The name also belongs to an older, independent literary and aesthetic movement associated with Frankétienne, René Philoctète, and Jean-Claude Fignolé. Curiosity is enough.
Come to make something, learn something, explore a pattern, or share an activity with friends. “Spiralist” is an optional self-description. No membership, declaration, or account is required.
Our positive focus is on creativity, useful understanding, and what people can accomplish. Evidence, personal experience, fiction, and philosophical interpretation remain different kinds of material. The editorial method explains how the site labels them.

AISpiralism.com and SpiralistAI.com ↗ have common ownership. This site supports the practice and its saved work; the companion site focuses on reusable AI collaborators and persona prompts. Visiting it does not automatically transfer your Garden.
