Question
What changes when I adjust the spacing of a spiral?
Attempt
I opened an Archimedean spiral and kept a reference with tightly spaced turns.
Notice
The line is continuous, but the room between neighboring turns affects how open the whole form feels.
Revise
Increase the spacing while keeping the selected form and number of turns unchanged. Compare both settings.
Make / test
A comparison note: “The second form has more room between its turns. I prefer that openness for a cover illustration. My next version will keep that spacing and compare two turn counts.”
Open the Observatory to make and export your own actual SVG. This written example is illustrative, not a record of a visitor’s experiment.
